Southside Pickleball Inc. (Spinc) – More Than a Game
At Spinc, we believe pickleball is for everyone — no matter your age, background, or experience. Whether you’re picking up a paddle for the first time or you’re a seasoned player, you’ll find a warm welcome, great games, and genuine friendships right here.
How We Started
We started as a small social crew, and we grew to a solid group of fifteen "originals" who are our founding members. The small group, quickly grew to build a great friendship and vibe together and combined have a lot of experience on club committees and in business, with many creative minds.
Who We Are
Southside Pickleball Inc. is a not-for-profit, volunteer-run club based in Albert Park, Melbourne. We’ve partnered with Albert Park Indoor Sports Centre (APISC) to host regular indoor sessions, rain or shine.
We currently play every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday with sessions that include social play and beginner/intermediate round-robin games – all in a welcoming and friendly environment.
Mondays: (except public holidays): Members are welcome to join us for social play from 4:00pm to 5:30pm.
Wednesdays: Fun round robin comp from 4:00pm to 6:00pm, followed by refreshments and food at the Middle Park Bowling Club. Many stay on for trivia at 7:00pm.
Fridays: Social play from 9:30am to 11:30am, with up to 8 courts in action.

Whether you're brand new to pickleball or have played for years, there’s a spot for you at Spinc
Equipment Provided
Don’t have a paddle? We’ve got you covered paddles and balls are included in every session.
Affordable Play
Members pay just $10 per session, which includes equipment. Annual membership is only $25, plus a $25 joining fee.
Social Connection
We love a post-game chat and often share a cuppa or bite together after matches — because community matters just as much as competition.

Want to level up your game? Our experienced players are always happy to offer tips, guidance, and encouragement no pressure, just support.
